Lady has tonsils removed using hypno-anaesthesia

Whilst browsing the net I discovered a story on a lady who had her tonsils removed using hypnosis as the anaesthesia.
This is not new as hypnosis was used effectively as early as the 1800′s for operations by a few surgeons before chemical anaesthesia was discovered, however over the last few years hypnosis is coming back into use as an alternative or complementary anaesthetic during surgery.
